is learning how to be present with every experience without needing to change it and without getting lost in what we think it might mean or a judgment for or against it. This lack of reactivity frees up our ability to then make wise and compassionate choices.
for every-body. The flexibility/strength of the yoga poses and the settling/calming affect of the flow of QiGong is intended to bring a sense of embodiment that is hard to find in our fast paced world.
leads to our first insight into a mind that is constantly reacting to our likes/dislikes, fears, anger and wanting. Through the practice of meditation, yoga and mindfulness with persistence and an attitude of patience, concentration can be cultivated. The fruits of concentration are wisdom and lovingkindness.

A change for those of you who have attended my classes in the past, I am moving to a Dana model. Dana is translated as generosity and some call it a donation. The teachings I offer are freely given and the reality is I have bills to pay and needs to meet so here are two options on offering Dana for ongoing classes.
1) You can simply donate when funds are available and what works with your budget. That includes if you are unable to pay anything at this time. It is far more important that you attend and get the support you need. You can always donate when your circumstances have changed.
Sometimes option 1 leaves us with a sense of uncertainty/discomfort so there is more information in option 2 to help you decipher how much to give.
2) In the spirit of full transparency, at the yoga studio I would receive $7/class per student. For some of you it will make sense to pay less than what you paid the studio but perhaps are in a position to pay a little more than my portion. This is helpful for those who are unable to pay as much and will allow me to still be supported to continue to offer these teachings.
For some it has been easiest to have a monthly recurring payment setup with PayPal and utilize the classes and recordings as you wish. Then you don’t have to keep track of anything and I still receive the support I need to make the Dana model work. Or similar to the yoga class payment structure, you can pay for 5, 10 or 20 classes at a rate that works for your budget. These two options minimize the PayPal fees and the hassle of donating every time you attend a class or use a recording. You will be keeping track of your own classes and I appreciate your mindfulness.
In order to make the practice of mindfulness accessible to everyone there is no set fee for service. Please give what is skillful to your current situation and that which supports the continuation of what is being offered.
